These tips will be gathered from members at each meeting and placed here for everyone to learn from. Something members found out lately, read, etc...
  1. Always use a tripod it will make your photos much sharper.(Bart)
  2. Read Read Read and read again. (Claudette)
  3. Keep viewfinder and lenses free of mittens, fingers, camera case. (Don)
  4. When taking pictures inside with a digital camera most of the time you do not need a flash. (Pierrette)
  5. Use a lower ISO and higher exposure time when taking night pictures.(Justin)
  6. Check your camera for a setting to prevent Red Eye when taking pics of people.(Raymond)
  7. For taking photos in the winter it is good to wear gloves or mitts with open ends. (Bruno)
  8. For close-ups, check if your camera has macro mode. (Rea)
  9. I learnt that I could take pics of not only people and animals but now getting into landscapes and scenery.
  10. Watch your horizons, some cameras have a guided grill to help you with it. (Irene)
  11. For taking pictures in cold weather use some hot-hands packs in your camera case. (Irene)
